great Job! The melody is instantly recognizable, but you've put a nice funky twist on it. Multilayered vox sound pretty damn nice as well.. Thumbs Up

I like this quite a bit, just the way things sorta chug a chug along Locomotive Train in the chorus parts has a nice dramatic buildup. The guitars are nice and chaotic Big Grin I can't the image of the vocalists standing in their tuxedos and ascots (?!? or is that cumberbunds?) holding their sheet music nice and high in front of themselves while the raggae band behind them slug it out after having been given very loose instructions from the conductor along the lines of "just think Bolero, and wing it, you'll be fine"

A fine honor it is to be covered by youse and yourn. Bouncy

Wow, this is completely different.
The vocals in the verses are completely forlorn like a Robert Smith performance.
I like what you've done with the choruses.
The instrumentation is awesome.
Nice job and an excellent interpretation.

That stacato bass stuff is very cool. This is a twisted take on a very cool (and already twisted) song. Great atmosphere going on. All kinds of nice guitar work going on, very angly and biting.

Man, right there around 2:20 when the "Harriet" bit comes in that is some powerful harmony stuff going on. Nice.

this was an awesome song, and you made it even cooler. the vocals are amazing, and the backing is very jam worthy, its crazy how its kinda a ballad while having a groovy beat.

This is awesome, although it must've been a little daunting doing a cover of such an already cool song! I agree with hate9, it is cool the way it just chugs along, and i love those guitars doing all those cool little fills.

The vocals themselves are great, and i love those little drum rolls on the snare - yeah I think you got that just right.

One thing I'd like to have heard is silence followed by a gradual build up of all those cool bits like the snare roll, one guitar, then another, the bass joins in then onto the finale...hehe and then that awesome explosion at the end YEAH! that explosion was cool.

Great track...now I really must get around to listening to The Blind Monkey Hobos like I said I would all that time ago!

not familiar with the original but I do like the sound you have created.
guitar tones are very good and the vocals sit in the mix very well.

I am a big fan of the original version of this and this is so darn different but equally as awesome!! I love the way so many people have done something original in this year cover assignment thing!

Beautiful harmonies in the chorus and really just oh shit great. Gives it this really grand feeling.

I love the subtle weird arse effects and bits you add in throughout and the thunder at the end. Well fucking done my man!!!

Instruments are Great here. at the end i hear this spacey flangery sound, ive heared it before but i cant figure out if its radiohead or hawkwind :p (Joking)
Anyways Great track, good luck in the contest :) (Smile)

Love your vocal style and the rythm/disjointed lead. Reminds me of early bowie great job with production. Very well done you made Blind Monkeys - Harriet your own. Thumbs Up
